October 7th - Bissell Park Elora
Sensational Pumpkin Day is a free family event celebrating the end of the harvest season; it's all about the pumpkins. You will find pumpkins available for children for carving and/or decorating (for prizes), a professional pumpkin carver demonstrating carving techniques on a giant pumpkin (available to win in a draw at the end of the day), plus pumpkin ice cream will be provided by Mapleton Organic Ice cream. We will also have entertainment throughout the event including dancers, face painting, a bouncy castle and music throughout the day.

PARANORMAL PHENEMON AT THE WELLINGTON COUNTY MUSEUM AND ARCHIVES
Join us for an evening with Dan Hammond of SHIP as he reveals the results of his recent paranormal investigations at the former Poor House! Dan will also be speaking about his feature documentary film “The Ghosts of Wellington County” currently in production. Tickets are $8.00 +HST per person and are available at the Museum. Limited number of tickets available. Saturday, October 28, 7pm. – 9pm. Aboyne Hall. Parking and entrance behind the Museum.
HAUNTED CEMETERY WALKS
Join us by lantern to wander the grounds of the Poor House Cemetery and hear some horrifying but true events from its tragic past! Ages 13+ only. $8.00 + HST/person. Tickets available at the Museum. Space Limited. No Tickets at the Door. Meet on the outside front steps of the Museum 15 minutes before start time. October 25 at 7pm. and 8pm.

POOR HOUSE SPIRIT WALKS
Meet characters that lived, worked and sometimes died at the Poor House. Children must be accompanied by an adult. $8.00 +HST/person. Tickets available at the Museum. Space Limited. No tickets at the Door. Meet in the Nicholas Keith Room at the Museum 15 minutes before start time.

FAMILY FUN HALLOWEEN DAY
Sunday October 15 from 1-5pm. Drop-In for Halloween Crafts and Games, Monster Movies and the reptile show from The Travelling Reptile Show. Don’t forget to dress up for the Costume Parade at 3:30pm.! Admission by donation.
